What is Covid-19
According to Webster’s dictionary, Covid-19 is defined as: a mild to severe respiratory illness that is caused by a coronavirus (Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 of the genus Betacoronavirus), is transmitted chiefly by contact with infectious material (such as respiratory droplets) or with objects or surfaces contaminated by the causative virus, and is characterized especially by fever, cough, and shortness of breath and may progress to pneumonia and respiratory failure.
This is the most basic, scientific description of the virus that is causing a worldwide pandemic. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) keep strict account of the number of cases and those fatalities that happened as a result of this virus. In fact, the CDC records every virus, bacteria or germ that has the potential to cause massive destruction of human life. Probably the best function of this organization, is that it approves vaccines for such contingencies. They also provide a compiled, extensive list of what is and is not safe for humans to consume, whether it be food or liquid.
These guidelines have kept me safe my entire life.
